Creative Prodution History:
George Martin and The Beatles are truly champions for creativite production! George Martin and Paul McCarntey describe the creative process that went into recording “A Day in a Life” in this video clip:
Our setup for recording the piano samples.
A Screen Shot That Shows the Progression In the DAW of How to Edit the Samples
1. PINK = Reverse the samples (hard pan left/right)
2. GREEN & BLUE = Trim off the synth blast
3. ORANGE = Add fades to beginning and end of regions to avoid pops

Episode two had some super awesome and interesting info! I loved the gun recording techniques- really creative. Also, it’s insane that Hendrix played a song from Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band a day after the album’s release! The double reversed synth sounds like it’d be sweet in a thriller/horror film. Cool Podcast, Pete!
